2011 has seen O'Reilly and Hannan shortlisted for Queensland's most prestigious songwrting award, The Grant McLennan Memorial Fellowship. This follows the release of their new single 'The Turbine'. Penned during the Great Rains of that summer and recorded to tape as the Brisbane River outside found its peak in the floods the song reveals dark and gently haunting tones . It creates much anticipation about what to expect from the forthcoming album.
